HerCityGuide.com
I wanted to tell you all about a really cool website that was started in Septemer of 2008 that I’m proud to be associated with. It’s called HerCityGuide.com, and it’s a really great concept. It’s a website designed for women to help find all sorts of goods and services – everything from health and beauty, shopping, resturaunts, photographers (of which I’m one!), and most stuff in-between. The businesses listed on their site can be rated by other members also, so you can get a ‘real world’ review and comments on those businesses – good or bad. Aimee Jacobson (who created the site) is an awesome lady to work with, and has a genuine concern for both her site’s members and the businesses that she chooses to list on there.
The site is incredibly easy to use, with seperate catagories such as
- For her style
- For her kids
- For her pets
- For her guy
and many more, with different businesses in each catagory. The site is still growing, and adding more information every day. Aimee also has a blog and a discussion forum for the site, which is really cool, too.
Most of us guys that have been married for longer than 1 day know who makes most of the decisions in the family (at least all of the important ones, anyway!), and I think this is an awesome way for women to get great information before making those decisions on all that stuff!
